Projects that use Philips USB Webcam Driver

Up one level
This is small list of projects that use a webcam with the new driver. If you want to be in the list, send me information about your project.

Robots:

Linux Linux robotics project with the Australian Telecommunications Cooperative Research Centre

We're using a couple of webcams for a Linux robotics project with the Australian Telecommunications Cooperative Research Centre (ATcrc), and one is a philips-based chipset (Logitech Pro 4000).

Things work nicely now, and where the old binary PWC/PWCX version seemed to disasterously crash out SMP server (no panic - just complete lockup), the new module seems to work very nicely, when patched in via Alan Cox's 2.6.10-ac8 kernel (SMP enabled).

Coupe de France de Robotique 2005 (Robotic cup 2005 in France) organised by Planète Sciences

I'm working on a quickcam pro 4000 to do image processing for a robot that will participate to the european cup of robotic. Our board is an SH3 and our kernel is 2.4.26. So we can't use pwcx from nemosoft because there is no binary for our architecture.

Here 2 images of the robot:
